I highly recommend Fit Club. I joined 3 yrs ago at 52. I'd been a consistent runner for 20+ years but back and knee surgeries had forced me to cut down on the repetitive pounding. It seemed a little crazy for me to then try Fit Club's workouts involving weightlifting and gymnastic elements that were completely new to me, but I wanted a challenge and found the coaches at Fit Club attentive, knowledgeable and encouraging. They took time to understand my starting fitness/skill levels and adapt workouts so I could safely participate and progress.
At first I was just glad to be working hard again, but there were a few things I hadn't anticipated... First, the results - my fitness level and movement skills have improved way beyond my original expectations (still many more goals I'm working on). Second, education - not only does Fit Club teach how to move correctly but I've also learned much more about better nutrition and overall health. Finally, the community and friendships - Fit Club is comprised of an exceptional group of dedicated and supportive people that I truly enjoy being around.
My initial fears about starting this too old or aggravating past injuries were misplaced. I strongly recommend checking it out, trusting the coaches and programming, working hard and seeing your fitness and health improve. One of the best decisions I've made.
