1 year, 3 months
Hockey up through college
kettlebells swings, deadlifts, sled pulls
Least favorite lift/movement:
Murph team style, with packs on and any sort of chipper type WOD
Least favorite WOD:
...mayhem, travelling, improving my culinary experiences and seeing my improvement in CrossFit movements.
...mostly paleo and anything made with love.
...hope to make a positive difference in peoples lives with food.
...thankful for the coaches and atheletes who keep pushing me to do better every each time.
Are there any new challenges or activities (within or outside of the gym) that you've taken on since beginning CrossFit? (like races, other sports, or just general fun "life" stuff):
GoRuck Challenge in November 2012 (plus two of Mitch Potterf's "mental toughness" weekend courses I will never forget)
What's the biggest change you've seen in yourself since beginning CrossFit?:
Getting over the mental hurdles, shutting the voice inside down which says "quit" with "keep going" and somehow this beard popped up on my face.
Something people would be surprised to know about you:
I am an obsessive kitchen gadget and ingredient freak.
