Amanda Miller competed in the 2009 CrossFit games and sadly, lost her battle with cancer less than one year later. In 2010, the first WOD of the 2010 Games was dedicated to her and now “Amanda” is known as one of the gold-standard for fitness and tenacity in all of CrossFit. I was excited when it was part of the Master qualifier and even more excited when it came up as the final WOD in last years Masters Final. It's a great test of fitness. You have to be strong, skilled and conditioned to finish it in a reasonable time ( under ten minutes). It is advanced but can be scaled for those that don't have MUs or a solid squat snatch.
