CrossFitters tend to gravitate toward a Paleo diet. What about you, are you super-strict with your diet?
Not anymore. I eat clean and often.
What's the biggest change you've seen in yourself since beginning CrossFit?
I have developed muscles I never knew existed.
You'll be competing (for the second year in a row!) in the Masters Division of the CrossFit Games in California. What is it like to be among the fittest on the planet?
Surreal and daunting. Those women are really beastly.
What has Fit Club/CrossFit taught you about yourself?
Many small efforts will end up in success. Never stop pushing, never stop trying, never give up.
What motivates you to push yourself further?
To stand on the podium at the Crossfit Master Games one day.
What advice would you give a person new to CrossFit, or who is still unsure about getting started?
Commit to minimum of 6 months, 3-4 times a week, listen to your coaches, perfect technique before adding weight or speed and eat clean.
