What is your most dreaded workout or movement? Why?
Fran. I hate the Fran cough.
CrossFitters tend to gravitate toward a Paleo diet. What about you, are you super-strict with your diet?
I eat clean 6 days a week & cheat either saturday or sunday with pizza & ice cream.
What's the biggest change you've seen in yourself since beginning CrossFit?
I got leaner.
You'll be competing (for the second year in a row!) in the Masters Division of the CrossFit Games in California. What is it like to be among the fittest on the planet?
It's cool to know you're the top 20 in the world at something.
What has Fit Club/CrossFit taught you about yourself?
I have more patience than I thought I did.
What motivates you to push yourself further?
I want to be a good example to my kids.
What advice would you give a person new to CrossFit, or who is still unsure about getting started?
If you're new to CrossFit, do not avoid your weaknesses & if you want to be good [like compete at Regionals and go to The Games good] you have to do more than just go to class. You have to put in a lot of extra work on your own.
